Useful Resources for COVID -19

Updated: May 6, 2020

This post will provide a few resources for food delivery services, where to get more information on the coronavirus pandemic, healthy food options and mental health programs that are available to the public during this period. Please feel free to share with your friends and sphere of influence.

Healthy Eating Tips

Deciding what's for dinner can be a bit time consuming and a long process so fast foods are always a great option to solve this issue. However, since some of us do not exercise as much as we would love to, it is important to ensure that we are getting as many nutrients in our bodies while practicing social distancing and this can be done by creating healthy habits and substituting those snacks for proper nutritious meals.

An article published by UNICEF outlines 5 healthy eating tips that we can cultivate in order to ensure that we are staying healthy while practicing social distancing and taking preventive measures from contacting the Coronavirus. Please check it out and try some of the suggestions like making meals together with the family, friends or even by yourself. Try new recipes and be ready to experiment! This can be encouraging and give you something to look forward to during the day!
